Dar al-Ifta to sight moon for Rabi' al-Thani 1448

The Egyptian Dar al-Ifta will conduct a moon sighting to determine the beginning of the Hijri month of Rabi' al-Thani for the year 1448. The observation is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, following the Maghrib prayer.

Rabi' al-Thani, also known as Rabi' al-Thani, is the fourth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The determination of the new month depends on the results of the legal sighting of the crescent moon.
