Criticism has emerged regarding the use of the municipal budget, with 10 million dinars allocated for six performers. Some citizens have expressed dissatisfaction, noting that much of the repertoire consisted of cover songs and that the performance felt repetitive. Despite the controversy over spending, Bubamara expressed her enjoyment of the event and the local cuisine during a reception with the mayor.

Bubamara appeared in a black lace corset and decorated jeans, interacting with the crowd and discussing her musical hits. She noted that several of her older songs are seeing a resurgence in popularity among the audience.
