Dara Rolins reveals injury sustained before wedding

Slovak singer Dara Rolins has revealed that she suffered a serious knee injury shortly before her wedding to former footballer Pavel Nedvěd. The singer disclosed on social media that she tore her ligaments after accidentally falling into a semi-finished swimming pool at the site of their future home in Italy.

Due to the injury, Rolins was unable to wear high heels as originally planned and instead attended the ceremony in ballet flats. Designer Lukáš Kimlička, who created her wedding attire, reportedly had to use a sewing machine on-site to shorten her dresses to accommodate the change in footwear.

Rolins, who married Nedvěd on September 2 at Lake Maggiore, noted that while she is enjoying the peace of married life, she is still adjusting to a slower pace and managing the ongoing physical pain.
