DARA submits ‘Bangaranga’ for four 2027 Grammy Award categories

Bulgarian singer DARA, born Darina Yotova, has submitted her song ‘Bangaranga’ for consideration in four categories for the 2027 Grammy Awards. This follows her historic victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, where she secured Bulgaria’s first-ever win with a record-breaking point margin.

The submissions include Best New Artist for the singer, and Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Bangaranga’. The track was created with an international team, including Greek producer Dimitris Kontopoulos, Romanian producer Monoir, and Norwegian songwriter Ann Judith Stokke Vik.

Following her Eurovision success, ‘Bangaranga’ has seen significant global momentum, reaching number 90 on the Billboard Global 200 and surpassing 60 million streams on Spotify. The Grammy voting process is currently underway, with official nominations expected to be announced on November 16, 2026, ahead of the ceremony in Los Angeles in February 2027.
