Dara to headline Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro

Bulgarian pop star Dara is set to headline the Sea Dance Festival in Becici, Montenegro, from August 28 to 30. Performing on Saturday, August 29, she will share the stage with English singer and producer John Newman.

Dara, who gained international recognition after winning the Eurovision Song Contest with her hit ‘Bangaranga’, intends to perform her popular track alongside other songs from her repertoire. She expressed excitement about her first visit to Montenegro, noting her connection to the Balkan region.

In addition to her festival appearance, Dara revealed that she is currently preparing her first album in English. She reflected on her Eurovision victory, stating it provided a platform to showcase the talent and ambition of Bulgarian artists and helped challenge perceptions regarding the value of Balkan musicians on the global stage.
