DARA's 'Bangaranga' Tops Spotify as Bulgaria's Most-Streamed Song

Bulgarian singer DARA's Eurovision 2026 winning track "Bangaranga" has become the most‑streamed Bulgarian song in Spotify history, amassing over 42 million plays. The song overtook pop‑folk star Azis' "Sen Trope", which previously held the record.

The single also led the Spotify chart for Eurovision 2026 entries, secured the "Summer Song" title in the contest’s fan poll, and entered the weekly Billboard Global 200 at number 90, marking the first appearance of a Bulgarian‑born artist on that chart. Its popularity spread across several national charts.

Following the musical success, DARA was selected as the face of a new Bulgarian tourism campaign, received the honorary citizenship of Sofia and the municipality of Avren, and was recognized as an influential cultural figure promoting the country abroad.
