Darbhanga: Man found dead with weapon wounds in Lavani village

A 30-year-old man, identified as Mangnu Yadav, was found dead in the bushes near Lavani village in the Bahera police station area of Darbhanga. Yadav, who worked as a compounder for a local doctor, had gone out in the morning and failed to return home.

His father, Shatrughan Yadav, discovered the body after finding the man's slippers and mobile phone near the roadside. The deceased had multiple wounds on his face caused by a sharp weapon, leading locals to suspect murder. Following the discovery, villagers blocked the road to demand the arrest of the perpetrators.

Police arrived at the scene and moved the body to the DMCH hospital for a post-mortem examination. Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams have been called to investigate the site, and authorities are utilizing tracking dogs to gather evidence. The victim's father claimed that his son had previously received threats from a mobile thief.
