DARC hosts amateur radio leadership seminar in Baunatal

The Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC) is hosting a leadership seminar in Baunatal, Germany, from October 30 to November 1, 2026. Approximately 40 amateur radio enthusiasts from across the country are participating in the event, which marks the conclusion of this year's seminar program.

The seminar is designed to provide training for volunteers managing the roughly 1,000 local chapters of the DARC. Topics include legal and administrative issues, public relations, social media, digital tools, conflict management, and youth recruitment. The program also features workshops on emergency communications and the production of the amateur radio magazine, CQ DL.

This event celebrates 20 years of the DARC seminar center in Baunatal serving as a hub for volunteer training. Organizers emphasize that the seminars facilitate intensive exchange between members, allowing experienced volunteers to share insights with others to keep the association's operations current.
