Darıca Municipality and İMES sign employment cooperation protocol

Darıca Municipality and the İMES Organized Industrial Zone have signed a cooperation protocol to increase employment opportunities in Kocaeli. The agreement aims to more effectively connect job seekers with employers and create new employment opportunities within the district.

As part of the initiative, Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık visited İMES President Ahmet Tokkan to discuss employment strategies. The municipality utilizes an 'Employment Desk' where staff evaluate the demands of job seekers while simultaneously tracking the personnel needs of local and regional firms to act as a bridge between the two parties.

In addition to the desk, the municipality organizes employment fairs to allow citizens to meet directly with companies. Mayor Bıyık emphasized that employment is both an economic and social issue, stating that the municipality will continue to develop collaborations with the business world to help more residents find work.
