Darıca Municipality launches neighborhood festival series for children

Darıca Municipality has launched the ‘Mahallemde Şenlik Var’ (There is a Festival in My Neighborhood) event series for children. The program began in the Sırasöğütler neighborhood and is scheduled to move through various neighborhoods across Darıca throughout late August.

The festivities include science demonstrations, traditional shadow plays, music, and various stage performances. Events are set to begin daily at 18:30, with free popcorn provided to participating children. Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık invited families to join the celebrations, stating that creating happy memories with children is a priority for the municipality.
