Darden Restaurants hits 52-week high amid record sales
Darden Restaurants has reached a new 52-week high, with shares trading as high as $221.00. The company maintains a consensus rating of “Moderate Buy” among analysts, with several firms recently raising their price targets.
Despite the phaseout of the Bahama Breeze brand, the Orlando-based company continues to report record sales. Its three largest brands—Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Yard House—have each posted positive same-restaurant sales for five consecutive years. Some Bahama Breeze locations are expected to be converted into other Darden concepts as part of a portfolio shift.
As one of Central Florida’s largest employers with approximately 207,000 staff, Darden is navigating industry-wide challenges including rising labor, food, and supply-chain costs. The company’s latest filings also noted that CEO Rick Cardenas received total compensation of $34.8 million during fiscal year 2026.
