Dario Doronzo and Livio Minafra launch South Africa tour

Musicians Dario Doronzo and Livio Minafra have launched the ‘South Africa Tour 2026’, a project featuring concerts and masterclasses at several prestigious South African universities. The duo, consisting of a trumpeter/flicornist and a pianist/composer, aims to combine jazz with chamber music elements.

The tour includes stops at Rhodes University in Makhanda, the University of Fort Hare in Qompo City, Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, and the University of Cape Town. The program balances musical education through masterclasses with live performances.
