Darius Trinka Wins Lamborghini Super Trofeo Race at Road America

Lithuanian driver Darius Trinka secured victory in the opening Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America race at Road America, Wisconsin. Driving the No. 33 XONINE Racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2, Trinka held off Nick Persing of Wayne Taylor Racing by 0.774 seconds as light rain fell in the final minutes.

Will Bamber started on pole and led the early laps before being passed by defending champion Hampus Ericsson, who held the lead until the mid‑race pit stop. After the pit cycle, Trinka emerged ahead and maintained the lead. Pro‑class champion Elias De La Torre finished third, while the Pro‑Am pairing of Danny Formal and Graham Doyle continued their unbeaten streak with a seventh win.

The 50‑minute race ran without cautions despite a three‑car incident on the opening lap and several off‑track excursions. The result moved Bamber three points behind De La Torre in the championship standings.
