Dark Funeral releases live album ‘A Beast To Praise’

Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral has released a new live album titled ‘A Beast To Praise’ through Century Media Records. To celebrate the release, the band also shared a live video for the track ‘Nail Them To The Cross,’ which was filmed during a 2022 performance at Fållan in Stockholm.

The 13-track live album, running nearly 70 minutes, documents the band’s return to performing following the pandemic-related hiatus. Guitarist Lord Ahriman noted that the recording captures a significant moment in the band’s history, specifically the live ritual for their studio album ‘We Are The Apocalypse.’

The release marks the end of the ‘We Are The Apocalypse’ era. Dark Funeral is scheduled to complete the touring cycle with an extensive European run in autumn 2026. The band is currently working on new material, with their next studio album projected for a 2027 release.
