Dark Horse Announces Frank Miller's New Series at Comic-Con

Dark Horse Comics revealed a new five‑issue sci‑fi series titled Invasive Species at the 2026 San Diego Comic‑Con. The series is written by legendary creator Frank Miller, with artist Ryan Benjamin and colorist Alex Sinclair. Miller also confirmed he will collaborate on additional, yet‑to‑be‑announced projects with the publisher.

At the event, Dark Horse Director of Sales Stuart Schreck outlined the company’s shift toward longer ongoing and maxi series, citing the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons ongoing line and variant foil covers as examples of the new strategy aimed at keeping readers on consistent pull‑lists and providing robust back‑list support.
