Dark Horse Comics announces Berserk Volume 43 release

Dark Horse Comics has confirmed that Berserk Volume 43 will be released on November 24. The 220-page volume continues the dark fantasy saga, carrying forward the legacy of the late creator Kentaro Miura through the work of Studio Gaga and Kouji Mori.

The story follows the crew of the Seahorse after their escape from the destruction of Elf Island. Upon entering the territorial waters of the Kushan Empire, the group is separated; Guts is taken away in chains while his companions are treated as refugees.

Simultaneously, a grand council of Kushan clans is convening to debate declaring war against Falconia, the city ruled by Griffith. The narrative suggests that Griffith’s influence has already reached the empire through sorcery, while Guts faces a period of significant emotional darkness.
