Darkest Hour releases new single and video ‘Warrior’

Metalcore band Darkest Hour has released a new single and music video titled ‘Warrior’. The track serves as the second preview of their upcoming album, ‘Suffer Divine’, which is scheduled for release on October 30 via MNRK Heavy.

Guitarist Mike Schleibaum described the song as a blend of melodic death metal and modern elements, highlighting the technicality and progressive nature of the composition. Vocalist John Henry noted that the lyrics focus on the ‘intrapersonal warrior’, addressing the internal struggle to gain control over one's thoughts and purpose.

The music video was directed by filmmaker Thomas Mignone for DOOM Inc. and draws visual inspiration from the film ‘Raging Bull’ and the music video for ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’.
