DarkViperAU denies involvement in GTA VI leaks amid Take-Two legal action
Australian YouTuber Matthew ‘Matt’ Judge, known online as DarkViperAU, has publicly denied any involvement in the recent Grand Theft Auto VI leaks. His name appeared in legal documents following subpoenas filed by Take-Two Interactive in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Take-Two is utilizing DMCA subpoenas to request data from Microsoft and Discord in an effort to identify the individual or group behind the ‘Cyberleek’ account. The legal filings reportedly mention a Discord server associated with Judge’s community, which the creator claims is a misunderstanding. Judge stated that the server identified in the documents is not his editors' server and that no leaked clips are hosted on his Discord channels.
Judge clarified that he has not been contacted directly by Rockstar Games or Take-Two and emphasized that he has always maintained a respectful relationship with the developer. He noted that he immediately removed any accidental screenshots of the game to avoid copyright infringement.
