Darlan officially presented as Vitória defender

Esporte Clube Vitória has officially presented 23-year-old defender Darlan, who joins the club on loan from Gama until the end of the year. Standing at 1.90m, the defender arrives following a successful campaign with Gama in Série D, where he helped the team secure promotion to Série C.

During his presentation, Darlan discussed his tactical versatility, noting that while he has recently played on the left, he has a preference for the right side due to his ability to carry and drive the ball. He expressed readiness to adapt to the coaching staff's needs and play in both four-defender and three-defender systems.

Vitória's football director, Sérgio Papellin, praised Darlan's potential and young profile, indicating that the club is interested in a permanent transfer at the end of the loan period. Darlan's professional career includes stints at Tupan-MA, Criciúma, Grêmio Anápolis, and Leixões in Portugal.
