Darío Giordano denies abuse allegations following children's testimony

Public attention has resurfaced regarding allegations of physical and psychological abuse involving producer Darío Giordano and his children, Valentín and Franco Yankelevich. The controversy follows recent public testimony from Valentín, the son of the late actress Romina Yan, describing a difficult childhood marked by violence.

Court documents and testimonies from 2015 have been released, including a statement from producer Cris Morena. Morena described Giordano as having increased irritability following Romina Yan's death and detailed instances of aggression toward the children, including an episode where he allegedly dragged Valentín by his hair. Psychological and psychiatric reports from the original custody case also surfaced, describing Giordano as having rigid defensive mechanisms and a limited capacity for self-criticism regarding his parental role.

In response, Darío Giordano issued a statement rejecting all accusations of violence, asserting that such episodes never occurred in his family. He noted that he had been dismissed from a previous criminal case due to the statute of limitations expiring.
