Darłowo launches “Pamięciownik” mobile exhibition of local history

The town of Darłowo will host a mobile exhibition called “Pamięciownik” from 9 to 13 September 2026. The project is organized jointly by the Centre for Social Archiving (Centrum Archiwistyki Społecznej) and the Darłowo Cultural Centre (Darłowski Ośrodek Kultury). A pavilion will be set up on the Market Square where residents can bring personal photographs, documents, letters or other items, have them scanned, and share the associated stories. The originals remain with their owners, while digital copies are added to the local social archives and displayed in the exhibition. The initiative aims to collect and preserve the town’s heritage across generations and foster community interaction.
