Darłowo officials honor Municipal Guard for community service
In recognition of Municipal Guard Day on August 29, Darłowo City Secretary Tomasz Bobin met with members of the Darłowo Municipal Guard on August 28 to express gratitude for their service to the community.
The guard, which consists of six officers and two administrative staff members, manages public order, responds to resident reports, enforces local regulations, and secures municipal events. The workload for the unit increases significantly during the summer months due to the rise in visitors to the coastal city.
The Darłowo Municipal Guard was established in March 1993. The annual celebration of Municipal Guard Day commemorates the passage of the Act on Municipal Guards on August 29, 1997.
