Darrelle Revis expresses interest in coaching for Buffalo Bills

Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Darrelle Revis has expressed interest in pursuing an NFL coaching position, specifically suggesting he would like to join the coaching staff of the Buffalo Bills.

Revis, 41, made the pitch to Buffalo defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, a former teammate from his time with the New York Jets. Revis stated, “I think Jim will be a future head coach. Tell him if he needs a secondary coach to give me a call.” He emphasized that he was not joking and noted his continued passion for the game.

Following the offer, Leonhard reportedly responded by writing down Revis’ phone number. While Revis previously expressed uncertainty about coaching during his Hall of Fame induction period, he indicated that the sport is pulling at him again now that he is an empty nester.
