Darren Fichardt wins Staysure PGA Seniors Championship

Darren Fichardt won the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, finishing at 12-under par to secure a five-stroke victory over Mikael Lundberg.

In a separate incident during the final round, American professional Michael Block was disqualified from the tournament. Block, who was competing on a sponsor's invitation, reportedly arrived late to his tee time, resulting in a two-stroke penalty. Following a bogey on the 12th hole, Block walked off the course, reportedly due to frustration with the playing conditions. He did not communicate with his playing partners before his exit.

The tournament featured difficult weather conditions, with strong winds impacting the field. Other notable finishers included Jamie Donaldson in third place and Michael Campbell within the top 10.
