DARS appoints Peter Drobež as new board president

The Slovenian state highway operator, DARS, has appointed Peter Drobež as its new board president with a full mandate. Drobež succeeds Anton Guzej, who had been serving as acting president since August 15 following the early departure of Andreja Ribič.

In addition to Drobež's appointment, Tine Svoljšak has joined the board as a member. These changes follow the resignations of board members Alenka Muhič and David Skornšek. Anton Guzej will return to his position on the supervisory board.

Drobež is a former long-time manager at Frutarom Etol (now Tastepoint) and is currently the owner and director of Frutol Flavours. He previously served as a board member of the Slovenian State Holding in 2022 before resigning following the formation of Robert Golob's government.
