Dars CEO Andrej Ribič resigns; Anton Guzej appointed acting head
Andrej Ribič has stepped down from his position as the CEO of Dars, the Slovenian motorway management company. Ribič, a member of the Gibanje Svoboda party, reached an agreement with the supervisory board to terminate his function due to economic and business reasons.
Anton Guzej has been appointed as the acting CEO. Guzej is a former director of RTV Slovenija and has held leadership roles at Krekova banka, Avto Celje, and Nove KBM. He will step down from his current role on the Dars supervisory board to take on this position.
Reports suggest that Peter Drobež is a leading candidate to eventually succeed Guzej as the permanent head of Dars. Drobež has experience in the food industry and previously served on the board of the Slovenian State Holding.
