Dartmoor Auctions hosts two‑day antique sale in Devon

Dartmoor Auctions will hold a two‑day public sale on Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August at Bowden Place in Sticklepath, Devon. More than 1,100 lots ranging from outdoor furniture, decorative glass and antique ceramics to militaria, vintage toys and original paintings will be on offer.

Auctioneer Ann Thorp will lead the event, with the Dartmoor Auctions team providing free refreshments, snacks and assistance for first‑time bidders. A viewing day is scheduled for Friday 31 July, and online, phone and in‑room bidding will be available.

Tim Penrose, the company's manager, said visitors often arrive out of curiosity and stay for hours, highlighting the family‑friendly atmosphere and the opportunity for collectors and holidaymakers to discover unique items.
