Dartmouth equestrian defeats No. 1 Lynchburg 5-4

The No. 2 ranked Dartmouth equestrian team defeated the No. 1 ranked University of Lynchburg with a score of 5-4 in Rustburg, Virginia. The victory brings Dartmouth’s season record to 2-0.

Dartmouth established an early 3-2 lead in the fences portion of the competition. While Lynchburg maintained a raw score advantage in fences, Dartmouth secured critical points on the flat to clinch the win. Individual standout performances included Grace Russo, Camilla Jerng, and Cassidy Exner for Dartmouth, as well as Amaya Bellfield and Stella Patenaude for Lynchburg.

For the second consecutive week, Dartmouth riders earned both Most Outstanding Performer awards, with Cassidy Exner winning for her efforts over fences and Camilla Jerng winning for her performance on the flat.
