Collegiate sports: Quinnipiac and Yale secure key victories

In collegiate field hockey, Quinnipiac secured a 3-2 overtime victory against Dartmouth. After trailing 2-0 at halftime, Dartmouth forced overtime with goals from Ella Bowman and Riley Dumigan. However, Charlie Caunter scored the golden goal for Quinnipiac in the extra frame to secure the win.

In another matchup, Yale defeated Temple 2-1. Despite falling behind early to a goal by Temple’s Lucia Magro, Yale responded with goals from Emma Ramsey and Maddie Leathem to take the lead and hold the win with a strong defensive performance.

In men’s water polo, Harvard extended its winning streak to four games following a 21-13 victory over MIT. Jacob Tsotadze and Connor Kim each recorded hat tricks to lead the Crimson offense.

In women’s soccer, ninth-ranked Duke earned a 2-1 road win against Boston College. Mia Minestrella and Avery Oder provided the scoring for the Blue Devils, who dominated shot attempts throughout the match.
