The 19th edition of the European Darts Championship is scheduled to take place from October 22 to 25, 2026, at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany. The tournament features the 32 top players from the European Tour Order of Merit.

Defending champion Gian van Veen, who won his first major title in 2025 by defeating Luke Humphries, enters the competition as the title holder. The 2026 event marks the final year the tournament will follow the current format; starting in 2027, the field will expand to 48 players and the duration will increase from four to six days.

The tournament structure uses a bracket based on the final European Tour standings, where the number one seed faces the 32nd seed in the first round. Match lengths vary by stage, starting with ‘Best of 11 Legs’ in the first round, increasing to ‘Best of 19 Legs’ in the round of 16 and quarterfinals, and extending further for the semifinals and final.
