Luke Littler claims status as world's best 19-year-old athlete

Darts superstar Luke Littler has asserted that he is the best 19-year-old athlete in the world, citing his trophy count and dominance in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

Following his victory at the World Matchplay, the 19-year-old Littler, who has won two PDC World Championships and holds 14 major singles titles, compared himself to other prominent young talents. He suggested his ability to win matches and accumulate trophies places him ahead of footballer Lamine Yamal and Formula 1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

Littler specifically minimized the impact of Yamal's performance during Spain's World Cup victory, stating, "He didn't really do much, did he? He scored maybe one goal. And gave an assist, too." Regarding his standing against tennis player Jannik Sinner, Littler noted that while Sinner's Wimbledon win makes comparisons difficult, his own results and trophy accumulation are among the best in the sport. Littler is currently aiming to win all 11 available trophies this year.
