Darwin Núñez to join Diriyah Club on loan from Al Hilal

Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez is set to join Diriyah Club in the Saudi Pro League on loan from Al Hilal. A verbal agreement has been reached between the two Saudi clubs for a loan deal lasting until June 2027.

The agreement reportedly covers the player's salary but does not include a purchase option clause. Medical examinations are being organized to finalize the move.

Núñez previously moved from Liverpool to Al Hilal in 2025 but struggled to maintain a permanent place in the squad following the arrival of Karim Benzema, due to restrictions on the number of foreign players clubs can register. This move to Diriyah ends previous speculation regarding a potential loan to Trabzonspor in Turkey.
