The final round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship will be staged at Hidden Valley in Darwin from September 18‑21. Organisers have announced a slate of 21 wildcard riders across the MXGP, MX2 and WMX classes, featuring Australian talent alongside international stars such as Japan’s two‑time champion Souya Nakajima, United States WMX leader Lachlan “Lala” Turner and several Australian riders.
Tourism and Events NT CEO Suzana Bishop said the event "delivers world‑class racing and the uniquely Territory atmosphere fans love," emphasizing Darwin’s role as the sport’s Australian hub. Ticket sales have begun, offering standard admission as well as premium experiences like the Valley View Terrace and the Holeshot Hotel.
The wildcard line‑up includes riders drawn from the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship, highlighting the pathway for emerging Australian talent and the growing international profile of the Darwin event.
