Daryte na Trakiya agricultural exhibition begins in Plovdiv

The “Daryte na Trakiya” (Gifts of Thrace) national agricultural exhibition is taking place in the Plovdiv region, bringing together over 40 producers from all 18 municipalities of the province. The event includes a professional forum in Plovdiv to discuss the future of the agricultural sector, focusing on transitioning from financial aid to real investment, digitalization, and managing climate change impacts such as drought.

The festivities continue over the weekend near the Arabovska Monastery “St. Martyr Nedelya,” featuring traditional Bulgarian foods, wines, and artisanal products. The official opening is expected to include high-level attendees, including President Iliana Yotova and Minister of Agriculture and Food Plamen Abrovski. The program features folklore performances, religious services, and interactive workshops for children.
