Das perfekte Dinner presents weekly menus in Cologne

The German cooking competition "Das perfekte Dinner" airs Monday to Friday at 19:00 on VOX. For the week of 3 – 7 August, the show is filmed in Cologne and features five amateur chefs:

• Shirin (34) serves a Sicilian‑themed menu with arancini, lasagne and cannoli. • Patrick (35) offers a tomato‑avocado starter, beef with sweet‑potato and asparagus, and a lemon crumble dessert. • Cordula (50) presents a lemon‑infused menu with gnocco, salmon and a Sardinian cake. • Frederik (33), a bartender, prepares a Japanese‑inspired starter of hamachi and wasabi, pork belly with sweet‑potato, and a yuzu sorbet. • Tobi (58) delivers a "Brauhaus x Bistro" menu featuring a French‑style roast, sweet‑potato praline and a Kölsch‑flavored crème brûlée.

During the first episode, contestant Shirin kept her apron on while seated at the table, which the host called a "no‑go" breach of etiquette.

The episode highlights the diverse regional and international dishes prepared by the participants and the show's emphasis on hospitality and culinary skill.
