DASAC provides aid to over 200 vulnerable families in La Vega

More than 200 low-income families in the province of La Vega received government assistance through the Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Feeding (DASAC). The initiative was carried out in coordination with the Father Rogelio Cruz Foundation.

The aid focused on elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and vulnerable families. Recipients were provided with technical aids such as wheelchairs, as well as household items including beds, refrigerators, stoves, televisions, and furniture sets.

The delivery was led by DASAC Deputy Director Francisco García, representing Director General Edgar Augusto Féliz Arbona, alongside Father Rogelio Cruz. The distribution followed a prior assessment process to identify the areas and families with the greatest needs.
