DASAL showcases autonomous drone swarm technologies at BIMDTC 2026

DASAL Aviation Technologies demonstrated several advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operational concepts at the Best International Military Drone Team Competition (BIMDTC) 2026. The company showcased its ability to integrate different classes of systems into an autonomous ecosystem.

Key demonstrations included the ‘Angel Mode,’ where a five-drone swarm formed a 360-degree circular formation around a team commander to provide continuous environmental surveillance and threat detection. Upon detecting a threat, a separate three-drone configuration performed tactical obscuration before transitioning autonomously from reconnaissance to precision strike missions.

Additionally, DASAL demonstrated the deployment of MIKON Gözükara micro/mini UAVs from a mid-sized FALCON C15 rotary-wing platform, proving the capability to transport small systems to long ranges. The company also presented the ‘Beehive’ autonomous defense concept, which utilizes a monoblock guardhouse with an opening roof to launch MIKON drones in sequence, significantly reducing reaction times for protecting critical facilities and border lines.
