Dassault Systèmes reports significant emission cuts and customer resource savings

Dassault Systèmes has released its 2025 Impact Report, detailing the company’s sustainability progress through three pillars: Footprint, Handprint, and Human Capital. The report highlights a 78.3% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions compared to 2019 levels.

Through its “Handprint” metric, which measures the positive environmental impact of customers using the company’s virtual twin technology, several achievements were noted. A consumer goods packaging client reduced plastic use by 18% and increased recycled material use by 76%. In the manufacturing sector, a system for reusing 50% of discarded parts resulted in $45 million in cost savings. Additionally, a wind turbine manufacturer avoided 7,995 tons of CO2 emissions through optimized design and production.

Regarding social and governance metrics, the company reported that women make up 41.7% of its management team. On the economic side, 69.9% of total revenue is classified as EU Taxonomy-eligible, with 42.9% being EU Taxonomy-aligned.
