Amazon opens robotic logistics center in Dobromierz, Poland

Amazon has opened its twelfth logistics center in Poland, located in Dobromierz, Lower Silesia. The four-story facility covers over 200,000 square meters and is designed to employ more than 1,000 people by the end of the year.

This site is the company’s fourth robotic center in Poland and its first in the Lower Silesia region. It features over 5,000 Amazon Robotics units that handle repetitive tasks such as sorting and transporting shelving units, allowing human workers to focus on roles requiring decision-making and attention.

The facility incorporates sustainable infrastructure, including over 9,000 photovoltaic panels on the roof and electric forklifts. In conjunction with this opening, Amazon announced it will raise hourly wages for employees across all 12 of its Polish logistics centers starting October 1st.
