Data One rebrands as Consumer Intelligence Agency

Data One has announced its rebranding to the ‘Consumer Intelligence Agency’. The company aims to expand its business scope beyond traditional advertising agency services to become a partner that supports corporate management and marketing decision-making.

Data One currently manages purchasing data for over 60 million IDs, covering approximately 30% of Japan's consumer goods distribution, a market valued at roughly 10 trillion yen. Through this rebranding, the company intends to move beyond merely reporting sales figures to interpreting the underlying intentions, emotions, and behaviors of consumers to visualize future demand.

The company has established three strategic pillars: ‘Beyond Data’ to transform data into intelligence through trend forecasting, ‘Beyond Advertising’ to combine consumer information with creativity, and ‘Beyond Retailer’ to create value-added experiences using media and data. To support this new identity, Data One is launching new podcast programs, including ‘Consumer Intelligence Lab’ and ‘Shinsuke Kasai and Miho Nakai’s Entertainment Note’.
