Data readiness and AI leadership drive digital transformation efforts
Organizations are facing challenges in converting raw data into actionable business insights. According to a report from the IBM Institute for Business Value, only 26% of Chief Data Officers (CDOs) believe their organizations are sufficiently prepared to generate revenue from AI technology.
TCC TECHNOLOGY GROUP, through its technology knowledge center OPEN-TEC, emphasizes that the primary hurdle is not a lack of data, but rather a lack of readiness in data management. To overcome issues like data silos, companies must establish a strong data foundation focusing on data quality, connectivity, and robust data governance. This foundation allows tools such as Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI to effectively translate data into strategic insights.
In support of these digital shifts, the Big Data Institute (BDI) has launched the ‘LEAD NEXT’ program. This initiative aims to develop leaders from both the public and private sectors by providing hands-on experience with Big Data and AI. The curriculum focuses on transforming data into decision-making tools through skills like data storytelling, dashboarding, and the practical application of Generative and Agentic AI to foster data-driven organizational cultures.
