Databricks plans $165‑$175 B valuation in upcoming fundraising round
Databricks, the data‑analytics and AI platform, is in talks for a new fundraising round that could begin next month and value the privately held company at between $165 billion and $175 billion, up from a $134 billion valuation after a $5 billion raise earlier this year. CEO Ali Ghodsi has indicated the firm remains IPO‑bound, possibly as soon as next year, though he described 2026 as a challenging year for new listings. The company reported a revenue run‑rate of $5.4 billion, a 65 % increase year‑over‑year, with AI‑related revenue exceeding $1.4 billion. Investors continue to place large bets on AI infrastructure firms as the technology gains wider enterprise adoption.
