Datadog expands AI observability support for infrastructure and enterprise services

Datadog is expanding its role in supporting large-scale AI infrastructure and enterprise AI strategies. In Indonesia, the company highlights the growing need for integrated observability as the nation moves toward gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure. This includes the planned development of an AI Factory with a projected capacity of up to 1 gigawatt within three years, requiring integrated management of computing, networking, power, and cooling systems.

In Japan, SoftBank Corp. has expanded its use of the Datadog platform to support its AI strategy and the development of its enterprise AI platform, ‘AGENTIC STAR’. By utilizing Datadog’s observability and security tools, SoftBank has reportedly reduced application prototype development time from approximately 30 hours to just 30 minutes. This integration allows SoftBank to maintain service reliability and operational efficiency while scaling AI services without significantly increasing engineering headcount.
