DATAfórum Justicia 2026 to focus on judicial digital transformation
The DATAfórum Justicia 2026 event is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 23 at the PALEXCO exhibition and congress center in A Coruña, Spain. Promoted by the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts in collaboration with the University of A Coruña, the A Coruña City Council, and the High Court of Justice of Galicia, the forum focuses on the digitalization and transformation of the judicial service.
Key themes for the event include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fundamental rights, and the social impact of new technologies. The program aims to integrate ethics and innovation to create a more accessible and inclusive justice system. Specific initiatives include a DATAthon involving multidisciplinary university teams addressing challenges such as neurodivergence and disability, as well as a PROMPTathon focused on using generative AI to extract information from anonymized judicial documents.
Additionally, the forum will feature simulated trials designed for primary and secondary school students to foster an understanding of justice as a service for protection and coexistence. The event will include keynote speeches, debates, and workshops aimed at experts, institutions, and companies within the judicial ecosystem.
