Manolis Christodoulakis denies allegations of €9m family company contracts

PASOK Member of Parliament Manolis Christodoulakis has responded to reports alleging that his family-owned company, DATAMED S.A., has received over €9 million in public contracts since 2019. The reports claim the company, managed by his father and brother, secured more than 170 contracts, often through direct awards or negotiation processes without prior publication.

Christodoulakis dismissed the allegations as targeting and defamatory, stating he will not be intimidated by “corrupt centers and mechanisms.” He emphasized his commitment to the PASOK political agenda and his refusal to compromise.

In a statement, DATAMED S.A. clarified that the funds were not for new awards but for supplementary maintenance and support contracts. The company asserted that these services must be provided by them due to the specific technical expertise and proprietary software involved.
