DataSUS Portal reorganizes services to improve user access

The DataSUS Services Portal has implemented a new organizational structure to improve access to available services. As of September 22, the platform's banners are now categorized according to the specific secretariats of the Ministry of Health responsible for each service.

This reorganization was developed by the Department of Information and Informatics of the SUS (DataSUS), under the Secretariat of Information and Digital Health (SEIDIGI), in response to user feedback regarding difficulties in locating specific information due to the growing number of services. The change follows discussions with the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) and the National Council of Municipal Health Secretariats (Conasems).

The new structure groups services under five main secretariats:

• SEIDIGI: Information management and digital health transformation. • SVSA: Epidemiological, sanitary, and environmental surveillance. • SAES: Hospital care, urgency, and specialties. • SCTIE: Science, technology, innovation, and pharmaceutical assistance. • SAPS: Primary care and family health.
