Datia villagers allege 1 crore rupee fraud by Radheshyam Baba

Villagers in the Datia district of Madhya Pradesh have accused a man known as Radheshyam Baba of defrauding them of more than 1 crore rupees. The accused reportedly resides at the Siddha Baba location on Guraiya ka Pahar.

According to the victims, the fraud was carried out by exploiting religious faith and promising high interest rates on investments. Residents from several surrounding villages, including Nirawal, Bidnia, and Khairi, claim they handed over their hard-earned money after being enticed by promises of spiritual merit and financial gain.

When villagers attempted to reclaim their funds, the accused allegedly used various excuses to avoid repayment. On Tuesday, a group of affected residents visited the Datia Superintendent of Police (SP) office to submit a written application. They are demanding a fair investigation to document the transactions and take legal action against the accused. Police officials have assured the complainants that the matter will be investigated.
