DATS 24 transfers 18,000 Belgian customers to EnergyVision as it exits gas and electricity market

Belgian fuel retailer DATS 24, a subsidiary of the Colruyt Group, announced it will cease supplying electricity and natural gas. The decision affects roughly 18,000 customers, about 80 % of whom are in Flanders. From 31 August, those contracts will be automatically transferred to EnergyVision, a domestic energy provider active since 2014. Existing contract terms and any discounts will remain unchanged, and customers will receive a final invoice from DATS 24 for consumption up to the transfer date.

CEO Jean‑Jacques Delmée said the move allows DATS 24 to focus on mobility‑related fuel and charging solutions, adding that EnergyVision shares the same Belgian, green values. Customers are free to change supplier at any time, provided they observe a three‑week notice period.
