Datt Japan Announces Arena Remake for Switch and Steam, Set for Winter 2026

Japanese developer Datt Japan announced a remake of the 1990s PC title ARENA, to be released as “Arena Remake” on Nintendo Switch and Steam. The game is scheduled for a downloadable release in the winter of 2026.

Arena Remake is a roguelike turn‑based RPG offering two modes: a “Legacy” mode that faithfully reproduces the original gameplay, and an “Arrange” mode that adds new graphics, a revised battle system, expanded story content and randomised stage elements. Additional features include an “Endless” mode and extensive power‑up synergy options.

The title connects to other Datt Japan franchises such as Ramy's Adventure and Air Hockey, and is positioned to integrate with a forthcoming project tentatively called Ramy's Arena. The release will be available as a download‑only product in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese and other languages.
