DAV launches free online bouldering starter course in Bad Tölz and Thalkirchen

The German Alpine Club (DAV) has introduced a free online bouldering starter course aimed at beginners. The program consists of six sequential video lessons that cover basic movements, technique and common beginner mistakes, and is supplemented by a detailed PDF guide with tips and exercises.

The course is offered through the DAV climbing centres in Bad Tölz and Thalkirchen, with contact information and FAQs available on each centre’s website. It is intended to help newcomers start bouldering safely and confidently, and participants can access the material at no cost.
